Qiball

"Qiball" is a complex redevelopment building in Chiba city. The name taken from the view of the ball-shaped planetarium, and the pronunciation of "Qiball" is makes it image Japanese "hope" or "dream".
The building houses four government service facilities for health and welfare, child-raising and activities of schoolchildren, offices for the incubator, and science museum. Not only the Japanese but also many foreigners use this building, because several foreign people live in Chiba city, so we use six languages, which are Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese, in signs at the atrium. The signs clearly distinguish these facilities, where people can only reach by a direct elevator, with colored, large comprehensible arrows and guidance blocks on the floors. Considering the signs and the space as one integrated design, we planned so that anyone can smoothly arrive at the desired destination.
