KMD (Kei Miyazaki Design) started out in 2002 as a new creative group. Up to now, we have creatively developed sign plans, color plans, environmental design, VI plans and architectural materials, etc. in a large number of public and large-sized private buildings.
Today, high added value and differentiation from others is required in every direction. To resolve this, design is an effective means as a beginning. No matter how much something excels functionally, this can only appeal if there is design which clearly concretizes and realizes the functions. In this way, one can call “design” an act that replaces a potential concept with a concrete shape. In revolutionary eras, the importance of identity is recognized in even higher dimensions, and the value of design is increasing ever more. We intend to pursue the potential of design in a variety of scenarios without being restricted by conventional frames.
Excellent design makes the life of people more comfortable and rich. Through research and activities to spread design, KMD desires to be of service for the creation of a better human environment.
About Sign Design Planning
Signs are visual communication that link people with a building. The intellectual graphics that summarize space as KMD strives for convey accurate information and a message of architectural space to the users of a facility. Further, simple and sharp forms make an appeal for the existence of a space in a discrete way.

About Environmental Design
This is the design of the architectural environment presenting wall and floor surfaces, etc. - for example, like in curtains or carpets or reliefs in an entrance hall. KMD carefully researches not only expressions of color and shape, but also new expressions that utilize the specific flavor of materials while at the same time using a deep vision of space to pursue high-quality environmental design in concert with the spirit of each individual architectural object.

About Color Planning
Color is one of the materials making up architecture and also includes emotional elements. The human mind is greatly influenced by colors, and how colors are used or combined affects the configuration of a space, its functions and also its security. Color planning is indispensable when forming a place where people can pursue their activities in health. We are thoroughly familiar with environmental colors, and by our hands, architectural space will surely become even more sophisticated.

About VI Planning
KMD does not perceive VI planning as simply the design of the logo mark of a company or organization. VI should be a common language linking people and people, or people and their environment. This is naturally recognized through color and shape, but also through touch, smell or sound that cannot be visually felt, in other words, through all five senses. We believe that VI design means visualizing this kind of “air” that flows between people and their environment.
