ムスリムとベジタリアンのためのエスニック料理のレストランである。パッシブキッチンとは自然の力を取り入れる、といった意味を持つ。エスニック料理に不可欠で、自然の恵みである「スパイス」をコンセプトとし、さまざまなスパイスの色彩と名称をモチーフとして、食文化の理解を深める場にふさわしく、シンプルで明るいデザインとした。インテリアでは、内装はもちろん、家具什器、サイン、小物に至るまで、あえて具象を用いず、色彩を中心とした抽象表現で空間全体を統一している。
店舗として工夫した点として、汚れの目立ちやすい床に、さまざまなスパイスカラーのゴムチップの破片をアセンブリーしたオリジナルの床材を使用し、使い勝手とデザインコンセプトの統一を図った。
This is a new ethnic Halal foods and vegetarian restaurant in the redevelopment area called “Passive town”. For the ethnic food, spice is essential elements and we used the color and name of spice as our design concept of this project.
Then we adopted an abstract expression with coloring for interior design, furniture, sign design and small articles to unify the space.
And also, we use new developed original rubber tile with mixed rubber chips of spice color for the floor which easily gets dirty.
